PA School Bus Driver Interest Form

This school year, a nationwide school bus driver shortage has negatively impacted the beginning of the school year for many school districts in Pennsylvania. As a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) holder, you may be qualified to serve your community as a school bus driver this school year. If you are seeking work, or are interested in supplemental employment, please know that many school entities are offering signing bonuses, retention bonuses, and other incentives to attract drivers.

Please note that Pennsylvania law requires individuals transporting school students to pass both a criminal history check conducted by the Pennsylvania State Police and a child abuse history check conducted by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services prior to hire.
